A note from our Head Teacher
Welcome to our website!
Welcome to Invergarven School, a special school based in Girvan, South Ayrshire. Our school is a vibrant, healthy and thriving learning environment where all children can develop and grow into confident and successful individuals, in their own way.
We teach pupils from Primary 1 through to S6 at Secondary level; our curriculum is coherent, inclusive, wide and varied with a focus on skills for learning, life and work. Health, safety and wellbeing is prioritised at all times, and we work closely with our partner agencies and families to ensure we really do get it right for all of our young people.
Our ethos is built around our school values and the message is clear that “Everyone Matters”. By helping each child and young person to understand that everyone has different qualities and abilities, we aim high to inspire confidence to allow each pupil to shine in their very own way.
I am immensely proud of what we are achieving here at Invergarven School; it is an honour to lead such an amazing team and to really make a difference for our children and their families.
